Getting to Somewhere Hot

Address:

Soper’s Hole Wharf & Marina

West End, Tortola

VG1130

Flights:

We recommend flying into the Cyril E. King International Airport (STT) or the Terrance B. Lettsome Airport (EIS). The former tends to be more budget-friendly, but the latter is a more direct route. Flights that arrive in the late morning or early afternoon of the start date of your trip are best, or you can plan to arrive a day early just in case of any delays. Check-in to Somewhere Hot is at 4PM, and check-out is at 10AM.

After your flight:

There will be taxis lined up right outside of either airport you chose. Take any one of them. Motion sickness remedies are recommended as the taxis are large vans and the roads are very winding.

  • If you flew into STT, you will need to take a road taxi to either the Red Hook or the Charlotte Amalie ferry terminal. Then, you’ll to take a ferry to Tortola. From there, you will take another road taxi to Soper’s Hole Wharf & Marina in West End. The length of that taxi ride is dependent on which ferry you took, on which your booking agent will help advise. This entire process will take approximately two hours total from when you land.

  • If you flew into EIS, you will need to take a road taxi to Soper’s Hole Wharf & Marina in West End. This is approximately a 45-minute ride.
